The Scarabaeus guards the secrets of life and love. It brings good luck
to its owner and protects him from all dangers of life on earth and after
death. It symbolizes resurrection. It was presented or copied to allow a
mutual event to live on in each others` hearts.
The pillar of Osiris or Djed signifies eternity, the change of man from
his transitory into his eternal being.
UDJAT EYE
The Udjat- eye is the Horus falcon`s black eye, the eye of the night sun.
It stands for the opening of the inner eye, for the completed initiation.
It is a powerful protection charm against the evil eye, the unconscious envy
or against attacks of the offended elementary ghosts.
BABOON
In the old Egyptian book of the hidden room baboons guarded
the gates of the nighthours which humans had to pass in order
to be reborn.
IBIS
The old Egyptian god Toth appeared as Isis. He was the helper
in everyday life as well as the one who wrote all the deeds of
men into the ether. The magic literature tells about the god of
wisdom. All secrets between heaven and earth are known to
him and he looks right through our hearts.
BASTET AND SACHMET
The Bastet cat is the wife of the warrior Ptah, the physical body.
After conquering wild and dangerous Sachmet, he took her home
as his wife where she transformed into Bastet, who remained from
then on the guardian of domestic life. She is the mundane aspect of Isis.
He symbolizes unselfishness, change, agility and communication.
It keeps and stimulates the above virtues in the house being
used as a door or window decoration.
stands for truth. A person creates his own truth by where he walks
and how he `sets foot`on the earth. The foot refuses entrance to l
ies into the house or the holder himself by being used as a
window- or door-decoration or a key ring.
protects against the evil eye, envy and jealousy. This is based
on its connection of the number 5 (5 fingers of the hand). 5 is
the number of life and thus protects against evil.
